ULTICLIP and ULTICLIP3+ are the same length and width. Both versions are equipped with our patented retention and concealment design. The only main difference between ULTICLIP and ULTICLIP3+ is the mounting bracket area.

• ULTICLIP – We recommend ULTICLIP as our best retrofit version. ULTICLIP gives you several mounting options and is capable of replacing many holster clips. ULTICLIP can be used to replace traditional holster clips that use a retention slot. This type of clip is most commonly found on leather or nylon holsters. ULTICLIP also has a single hole that allows it to replace holster clips that use a single point attachment. • Ulticlip3+ – The mounting area of ULTICLIP3+ is primarily designed so that holster manufactures can better incorporate it into their products. The flat multi-hole mounting area allows for dual point attachment and the ability change ride height. You can download and print our Ulticlip3+ mounting template to verify if ULTICLIP3+ is the right choice for your holster.

ULTICLIP has a dual mounting bracket. It can replace screw on and retention type holster clips. The different types of holsters that will work with ULTICLIP can be seen in the video.

ULTICLIP is designed to provide a maximum clamping thickness of 1/4 inch. That is the equivalent of approximately 7 layers of denim material. Using ULTICLIP on materials exceeding 1/4 inch can damage and negatively affect it’s ability to clamp.

ULTICLIP XL is relatively maintenance free. We recommend wiping down ULTICLIP XL with your favorite rust protective lubricate after extended use or after being exposed to harsh conditions that could create rust.

A wax metal lubricant was applied to ULTICLIP XL when manufactured. If you note excessive friction after extended use then it may be necessary to reapply a wax lubricate. Wax lip balm works extremely well. Watch the following video to see how to apply wax lubricate.

Regular inspections and maintenance by you of your ULTICLIP product is essential. In the event you find your ULTICLIP product to be loose, worn, damaged or ineffective, cease use immediately and replace. Do not modify your ULTICLIP product. Any modifications could result in failure to function as designed.

The Ulticlip XL multi-tool has a 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″ wrench and a flat blade screw driver. The video below shows some of the functions of the multi-tool.

ULTICLIP XL is designed to clamp around a belt or directly to clothing. When clamped directly to clothing the maximum clamping thickness is 1/4 inch. That is the equivalent of approximately 7-8 layers of denim material. The maximum clamping thickness around a 1.5″ wide belt is 3/8″. Using ULTICLIP on materials exceeding 1/4 inch or around a belt thicker than 3/8″ can damage and negatively affect it’s ability to clamp.

Refunds

All claims of return merchandise must be made within 30 days of date of purchase. No refunds or returns will be accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase.  If a product needs to be returned within the first 30 days you must follow the instructions as outlined in the “Return Procedure” section below in order to receive a full refund.

All packaging, postal and tracking fees related to returned products are assumed by the buyer.  ULTICLIP does not reimburse or refund the cost of packaging or mailing returned item(s).

Returns are not accepted for items that have been physically altered. All original packaging and components must be returned for a full refund. Missing and/or excessively worn items may be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

Return Procedure – Failure to completely follow the instructions listed in this section may negate your refund.

1. Pack and mail the item(s) via the United States Postal Service. It is required that a tracking number be acquired at the time of shipping.

After mailing your item(s) fill out the “Warranty & Return Form” that is located under a separate tab at the top of this page.  You will be required to provide the tracking number of the item(s) you mailed when filling out the form.  If no tracking number is provided you risk not receiving a refund.
3. Once your package arrives and is processed by our Warranty and Return department we will issue a refund or exchange the defective item(s).
4. You will be notified by email once your refund has been issued or your replacement item has been shipped.  Refunds or exchanges are typically issued within 5 business days once a package has been received.
